"...rejoice in the wife of your youth" Proverbs 5:18

We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this past weekend. Catelyn stayed the night with Gma and Corey and I got to stay the night at Fort Rapids in Columbus. If you don't already know, it is a hotel with a fun indoor waterpark! We had such a great time! It was fun to be able to just spend uninterrupted time with each other for more than a couple of hours. We went to Easton and walked around, then went out to eat at Red Lobster...YUM! Then we headed over to the hotel and acted like a couple of kids at the waterpark! It was so much fun just being silly together. I am sure we looked like over-grown children to those who watched us. It was great! I love my husband, he is just so much fun to be married to.

One Step Closer

On Monday, we got one step closer to our overseas goal. After eight months, I received my graduation certificate for two of the three needed courses. I still have some intense testing to go through as I have only taken two of my six major governmental tests. It amazes me to think that we are less than four months away from being done with the A&P training. I don't know about for you but for us eight months is there and gone in a hurry. It's also amazes to think that we are already approaching May of 2008!! God says, our life is a vapor and He wasn't kidding. On May 1st, I will be taking two more of my FAA (Federal Aviation Administration)tests. These two tests will be the hardest of all of them so your prayers are greatly welcomed and needed. Below is a picture of the certificates of completion.
God has continued to be so good to us through this whole process. God's church is constantly blessing our lives and providing for our needs. There has been no room or need for anxiety. Is there anything too difficult for Him? I would say no. I have lived so much of my life worrying about certain things but it is a wonderful blessing to be learning more and more how much the Lord cares for us....even in the small details. Thanks so much for your unfailing love Lord!

More visitors!

We are excited to have had our second set of non-family visitors this past weekend! Our friends, Jason & Nicole Myers came for a quick one-night visit to say hello. It was such a nice time to just sit and talk and catch up on life. We were able to hear about their recent trip to Thailand and Cambodia, and how that has spurred them on to see other parts of the world. There is so much that God is doing around the world, and there is so much that we can be a part of that is yet to be done!

We also got to act like kids again by going to Chuck E Cheese's and playing games! Corey managed to pull off a top score of 470,000 on Skeeball! My typical average score is 280,000, but I managed to acheive my all time lowest score of 90,000! Impressive, I know, what that means is that I managed to get the worst score possible short of throwing the balls away from the machine! It was fun having all four of us adults crowding the Skeeball lanes seeing who could get the highest score. We also had a Mario Kart competition, I can't remember whether Corey or Jason won the guys' game, but mine and Nicole's video game career would not take us very far - in fact I think I recall Nicole going the wrong direction at some point in the race! I obtained 3rd place in a 4 player competition...I only beat out the chick who went the wrong way on the track! Anyway, we had a great time with our friends.
