The Past Couple of Weeks

The past two(+) weeks have been busy in our home. The interior of our house is being re-painted due the smoke damage all throughout the house from the fire. Here's a few pics:

We have done our best to stay clear of the painting areas. But, trying to keep two young and energetic kids away from wet paint has been...interesting. Let's just say some walls had to be touched up again. One of my adorable girls "accidentally" placed her hand in white paint and then left a cute little hand-print on a freshly-painted wall. Then, grossed out by the white mess on her hand, chose to wipe it off on our couch! Oops. Well, at least we have a cute little memento from her!

But, here is how the girls and I have spent our time trying to stay away from the wet paint:

The painting should be done any day now, so soon we will be running and dancing around the house to our hearts delight again!
