You Can Trust Him With Your Heart
Be still, O heart, before your Maker. For here you may find rest. Here, with Him, you need not fear of hurt or pain. Of getting broken. But rather you will find strength increasing and hope returning.
In the presence of your Creator, you can put your guard down and be filled with all good things. Overflowing with good. You can trust Him with all that you are and all that you have. He is trustworthy. Faithful.
Any stains you bear, no matter how many or how foul, will never be too deep or too foul for Him to make clean. He is altogether pure. He is altogether righteous. His very breath can make you white as snow. Fear not. He need only be asked.
O heart, you are able to lay yourself out before Him and know that He will always treat you with dignity and respect. You are greatly valued. Cherished. He made you. With great care. With tender love. You're His own.
With Him you are safe. He is strong. Mighty. He will fight for you. He is fighting for you. He desires you. You are continually on His mind.
O heart, your health is His concern. He loves you. When you hurt, He hurts. When you're sick, He heals. He stoops down and embraces you. As a Father. His loving and purifying eyes look deep into yours.
Healing begins.
Hope rises.
Joy swells.
Fears fall.
Worship abounds.
Glory is given.
He is seen for who He is.
Lord. Savior. Healer. Redeemer. Mighty King. Ancient of Days. Our Righteousness. The Exalted One. The Resurrection and the Life. God.
Be still, O heart, before your Maker. For here you will find rest.
