One Month Later

Well, it has been a month since we have posted anything. Please forgive. So Happy New Year to everyone!! We were very blessed to spend Christmas in Columbus with Megan's Mom and some of our Church family. It is always so refreshing to go down and spend time with our Church. You guys are so encouraging. Since we only get to go down once every couple months, we get the privelege of seeing and hearing you all tell us of all the great things God has been doing in and through you. I love your committment and passion for the Lord and the fact that so many of you own the task that God has placed before all Christians.
For the fist time in about ten months, we got to see my dad. This was the first time my dad has gotten to spend a good chunk of time with Catelyn. We had a great time. My dad is such a rock. It's so funny how crazy his life looks to an outsider but I can't help but see my dad as a great example of Christ. He lives in a camping trailer in a trailer park with a bunch of outcasts. Keeps his life as cheap as possible so he can give away as much as possible. He runs a little side business so he can make a ton of money in a few days and spend the remainder of his time serving others. He is constantly making "foolish" descisions so that others will gain while he loses. I am so blessed to be his son. Help me Lord to follow in his lead and one day use me to similarly impact the steps of my daughter.
