This morning we spent some time reflecting on the passages in the Bible that describe Jesus Christ in heaven. We were more than amazed at the fact that millions of angels worship Christ day and night with lightning coming from His throne, fire from His eyes and thunder cracking, yet, He would empty Himself of all that so that He could come here and be born in a manger to begin the greatest life that the world would ever see only to end in the greatest act of love we could ever experience. God is beyond our understanding. Happy Birthday Jesus!
It is easier to conform and treat Christmas the same way the rest of the culture is. So I invite and encourage you all to spend time (the day) resting in the fact that God sent His son to Earth so that all who believe that Jesus is the Christ, the one and only satisfactory sacrifice for the sins of all peoples. Every man and woman is in desperate need of Jesus Christ. Please don't waste this day on football and food, seek God in all of His splendor. We love you all and Merry Christmas.
