Swingin' in the rain

While here in Jakarta we are staying in an apartment complex that has a kid's play area. We had told Catelyn that we would take her to play there after her nap. However, she ended up sleeping REALLY late (jet lag) and it was dark outside by the time she woke up. But, keeping our word, we took her anyway (it stays warm even at night...a wonderful 79 degrees). When we opened the door to go outside it was raining...it started out light but then got heavier. Corey and I looked at each other and shrugged as if to say "What do you think?" We looked down at Catelyn finding her sad beautiful eyes looking back at us with the I'm-no-gonna-get-to-play look. We smiled and asked, "Wanna play in the rain?" What kid wouldn't?! "YES," was the reply. So, there we were - me, Corey, Catelyn and Ella swinging in the rain. Laughing and having a great time. We were wet, but warm. Good time with the family.
